I keep hearing some version of that from people lately . . . and honestly, I feel it too.
There are beautiful, exciting, life-giving things unfolding. And at the very same time, there are heartbreaking, difficult, and deeply tender things moving through our lives and through the collective. It’s a strange kind of doubleness to hold . . . joy and grief, expansion and uncertainty, beauty and weight, all at once.
In this week’s episode of the Luminary Life Podcast, I lean into that tension and explore some of the crystal wisdom available to us in times like these.

Back in December, Carnelian was our crystal ally. And now, as we step into May, Carnelian returns once again. I find it so interesting that this stone is also bookending the Scorpio moon cycle from new to full.
There is something potent here.
Carnelian carries a fiery energy that invites us to:
- burn through the density and emotional weight that has kept us stuck
- anchor into the stabilizing support of Mother Earth
- feel all of the feelings without becoming trapped in them
- and most importantly, orient our inner compass toward our highest vision
This is a rich conversation for anyone feeling the tension of this moment and looking for a grounded way to move with it.
