This week has felt wonderfully alive in simple ways.
I’ve been in the kitchen making an abundance of soup to freeze—squash from my parents’ garden turning into silky bowls of comfort. There’s something about slow simmering that invites me to breathe a little deeper and savor what’s here.
And in the spirit of savoring, I’ve been seeking out new places to adventure with Koda and Clover. My little list of spots (what began as two or three!) is becoming quite robust as I stretch my imagination and comfort just a bit. It’s been fun—sweet, playful, and quietly courageous.
